In 2020, the world waited a long time for the UEFA Champions League final, but we made sure PepsiCo didn’t wait as long to earn their place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Not only did we design and engineer some outrageously ambitious activation and in-store stands, we also got shoppers in the game, breaking the world record for the longest sequence of football passes in history.
Got skills? Never kicked a ball? Either way, we gave every shopper the chance to play their part breaking a world record, by teaming up with Pepsi and Lay’s.
We designed and built a 6x6m branded stadium and filmed hundreds of shoppers showing off their soccer skills in what turned out to be the longest sequence of passes ever completed. Even with strict social-distancing restrictions!
A WINNING TEAM IN-STORE
To kick-off the Pepsi / Lay’s match with the prestige of the UEFA Champions League final, we took the in-store game to another level.
With a crystal-clear replica of the UCL logo and a life-sized trophy, we designed and produced dynamic stands inspired by the best stadiums around the world. Complemented with turf and floodlights, the execution outscored the competition, winning the best global UCL execution in modern trade.
